Applications are for the 2026 Project Play Champions program are now OPEN. In partnership with Nickelodeon Our World, a global initiative to inspire youth and provide them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency, the recognition is available to schools and community-based organizations that are aligned with our shared vision of a youth-centered sports ecosystem.

An applicant must highlight a new action that has launched AFTER May 2025 or will take place BEFORE December 2026. This action should demonstrate alignment with at least one of Youth Sports' 8 Plays or School Sports' 8 Plays, create more opportunity to expand or improve program offerings to youth and show alignment with the program’s or school’s mission and values.
